About Brittany:
Brittany started her first company, More Than Cheer, as a sophomore at Virginia Commonwealth University. More Than Cheer is a recreational sports company that focuses on teaching leadership skills, teamwork skills, and building self confidence through cheerleading and dance. After moving back to Northern Virginia, Brittany had the honor of cheering professionally for the Baltimore Ravens.
More Than Cheer has grown from a completely mobile start-up to serving hundreds of young people each year throughout Maryland and Virginia. Brittany has been featured in publications such as USA Today, Richmond Bizsense, Under30CEO.com, U.S. News & World Report, Yahoo Voices, American Express Open Forum and various others. She has graced the cover of the Loudoun Business Journal as one of the top women business leaders in Loudoun County and as was recently named Woman of the Year by Phi Upsilon Zeta, of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc..
Brittany has held the position of United States Ambassador for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards and has been a speaker on the nation wide Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour. In addition to speaking professionally, she volunteers her time speaking and mentoring students at local schools and universities (Creighton's Corner Elementary School, Shenandoah University, LCPS programs). Brittany coaches, speaks, and writes about how to live a life of love, inspiration, and true freedom. She strives to be a living example of what she teaches others and is an advocate of empowerment through entrepreneurship, personal development, and healthy living.
